West Sussex Crime & Community Safety Survey
West Sussex Crime & Community Safety’s survey which is now live on the West Sussex County Council website. See here. The survey has been designed in consultation with partner organisations, and responses gathered will be used to improve customer satisfaction with West Sussex services and assist the West Sussex Strategic Community Safety Partnership in identifying priorities and preparing for the introduction of the Police and Crime Commissioner.
In line with their communications plan the survey will be rolled-out in two phases. Some of partner organisations have already been contacted and asked to circulate the link internally to their own staff. There will then be a public launch at the end of May with promotional material. This will be tied in with focus groups that are being run in June, and which will be targeted to those residents who do not traditionally engage in public consultation.
As a key stakeholder and link with the community, the Parish Council will be completing the survey itself and encouraging as many residents as possible to do likewise.
When the first phase of the roll out is complete the survey will be launched to a wider public through some targeted promotion literature, social media and a press release. Printed copies of the promotional poster and postcards will be available at this point, and we will be sending copies out to all our networks. Recipents are requested to display them in their office space, add to the parish newsletter and mention at meetings.
The survey is running from the 30th of April to the 31st of July and the results will be analysed in the early autumn. Once the information is available it will be shared this with respondents in relation to your neighbourhood plans.
A PDF version of the survey for anyone who wishes to complete a hard copy is available here. A freepost address for returns is listed at the end of the survey.
Kind Regards
