School seeks funding to catch up time lost to Covid-19

The governors of West Wittering Church of England Primary School are seeking external funding to provide additional teaching staff. It is reckoned that pupils that have had limited schooling for the last six months could require over two years to reach the expected standard for their ages. The aim is to reduce this time by adding extra teaching staff and equipment. One of the governors has written to local residents in more detail. See here.
