Construction of Cycle Pathway from Wellsfield to East of Cakeham Manor Access Road

The above works are due to start during the week commencing 3rd September 2010. For further details see the Works Information Notice.

The work will be undertaken by West Sussex Highways on behalf of West Sussex County Council. The scheme is being funded jointly by West Wittering Parish Council and the Woodger Trust. Please note in the final stages of this scheme there will be 4 to 5 nights working whilst the carriageway is resurfaced. We would like to apologise in advance for the disruption this may cause, however every effort will be made to keep noise levels to a minimum during this time.

The works on site are to be supervised by Mr Peter Simmons who may be contacted during the course of the works on 01243 642105.  If you feel the work is likely to cause a problem for a member of your household which could be helped by special arrangements, for example for wheelchair users, less mobile or visual impaired people, or for special deliveries you might be expecting, please contact him.
