Community Highway Scheme

Could this help to maintain the traffic flow on busy days? West Wittering Estate is offering to advance a proposal that would redesignate Elms Lane, Chapel Lane and Acre Street. An application would be made to the Highways Department for a Traffic Regulation Order to label these roads as "Access only". This should stop car navigation systems routing traffic for the beach down these narrow lanes with their limited passing places.
