Document Title:  Chichester Local Plan: Key Policies Pre-submission 2014-2029

Subject matter and area covered:

Chichester District Council has prepared a Local Plan and Policies Map which it proposes to
submit to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government. The Local Plan
relates to Chichester District, excluding the area within the South Downs National Park, and
provides a strategy for delivering growth for the Chichester plan area up to 2029. The
document provides the vision, objectives and strategic policies for delivering new homes,
jobs, services, facilities and infrastructure.

Period for representations:

The period for submission of representations will run for eight weeks from Friday 8
November 2013 until Monday 6 January 2014. Representations should arrive no later than
5.00pm on 6 January 2014.

Anonymous comments or comments received outside these dates will not be accepted.

Address details for representations:

Copies of the Chichester Local Plan: Key Policies Pre-submission and its related documents
are available to view, download and make representations on at
www.chichester.gov.uk/newlocalplan or returned by email to
planningpolicy@chichester.gov.uk. Making your representation online will help us to save
paper and time.

If you don’t have internet access, response forms can be collected at any of the Council
offices and returned to: Planning Policy, Chichester District Council, East Pallant House, 1
East Pallant House, Chichester PO19 1TY.

All comments received will be submitted to the Secretary of State and considered as part of
a public examination by an independent Planning Inspector. Representations at this stage
should only be made to the legal compliance of the Local Plan and to the ‘soundness’ of the
Local Plan.

Representations should specify in what respect(s) the Plan is considered to be unsound, and
what change(s) would need to be made to make it sound.

Please note that copies of all comments will be made available for the public to view
(including your name, but will not include any personal addresses or signatures), and
therefore cannot be treated as confidential.
