Your attendance is requested at the Meeting of the Parish Council to be held in the Social Room of the Sports Pavilion at 7.00 p.m. on Thursday 2nd July 2009

A G E N D A

1. Apologies for absence and declarations under the Code of Conduct.

2. Planning – to consider planning applications received including appeals and enforcement action. The Chairman will open the meeting to allow members of the public to address the Council.

3. Confirmation of Minutes of meeting held on 1st June 2009 (Copy available in Library) and any matters arising.

4. Resignation of Mr Hopson –The Council will consider legal advice relating to the resignation of Mr. Hopson, and may resolve to declare a vacancy.*

5. Clerks Report to include reports of Working Parties as follows;

 Allotments – Update on plot clearance, and allocations 
 Footpaths and Open Spaces – update on removal of Seat, Marine Drive bank, 
 Sportsfield and Pavilion Management and Millennium Meadow 
 Snowhill – update on track repair 
 Memorial Hall – to receive any report from the Council’s representative on the Management Committee 
 Finance to receive the monthly monitoring statement 
 Village Green 
 Twinning 
 Web Site Development and Communications – to include any update on the new web site. 
 Footway Lighting 
 Pagham to East Head Coastal Defence Strategy – to include any update from representatives of the East Head Coastal Advisory Group

6. Correspondence received for action or comment including items circulated for information only. (NB items of correspondence must be received by the Clerk for inclusion at least 1 week before the meeting).

7. Finance – budget monitoring information, bank reconciliation and accounts for payment as listed and FOI Act charging policy

8. Other items for discussion including highway matters

9. Open Forum – including questions from the public which the Council will consider (no decisions can be made by the Council under this item unless further debate agreed).

* The Council may by resolution, vote to exclude the Press and the public in order to discuss legal advice from the National Association of Local Councils regarding Mr Hopson’s resignation.
