Your attendance is requested at the Meeting of the Parish Council to be held in the Social Room of the Sports Pavilion at 7.00 p.m. on Thursday 3rd December 2009
A G E N D A
Mr S Hansford, Chichester District Council will address the Council on the Community Warden project.
1. Apologies for absence and declarations under the Code of Conduct.
2. Planning – to consider planning applications received including appeals and enforcement action. The Chairman will open the meeting to allow members of the public to address the Council.
3. Confirmation of Minutes of meeting held on 5th November 2009 (Copy available in Library or at www.westwitteringparishcouncil.gov.uk) and any matters arising.
4. Clerks Report to include any reports of Working Parties as follows;
- Allotments – Update on plot allocation and invoices
- Footpaths and Open Spaces – possible closure of public conveniences, Pound Road, East/ West path, Update re Gates, Pound Road, Consideration of quotes for repair to Snowhill Track and footpath maintenance.
- Sportsfield and Pavilion Management and Millennium Meadow – Report on Building and Fire regulations,
- Snowhill
- Memorial Hall – to receive any report from the Council’s representative on the Management Committee
- Finance – to receive the monthly monitoring statement and consideration of Annual Grants. Approval of new IT equipment for the Clerk, and contribution towards MPP and Community Wardens
- Village Green – update on removal of willow bough
- Twinning – to receive any report from the Council’s representative
- Web Site Development and Communications – to include any update on web site development and progress on proposed Newsletter
- Footway Lighting -
- Pagham to East Head Coastal Defence Strategy – to include any update from recent meeting of representatives of the East Head Coastal Advisory Group
- Emergency Planning – to receive a report following meeting with CDC on 30th November
5. Correspondence received for action or comment including items circulated for information only. (NB items of correspondence must be received by the Clerk for inclusion at least 1 week before the meeting).
6. Finance – budget monitoring information, bank reconciliation and approval of accounts for payment as listed.
7. Mr D Hopson’s website – to consider legal advice regarding alleged defamatory material. The Council may vote to exclude the Press and the Public in order to discuss this.
8. Open Forum – including questions from the public which the Council will consider (no decisions can be made by the Council under this item unless further debate agreed).
