Local help is at hand As the coronvirus is getting more widespread and a lot of us are of a certain age whereby we are classed as vulnerable, there is a possibility that a number of us may have to be isolated for a while. Many of us have good neighbours and families around us, but for those who haven't, a support group has been set up in West Sussex to help anyone who can't get out. It is called Covid-19 Mutual Aid and aims to help anyone who needs help with shopping, collecting prescriptions, help with animals and other errands.Their Facebook page is here.
For those who are unable to access the internect I have offered to take calls from those who need help and I will contact the volunteers in this area to get you some assistance. Please pass this on to friends and neighbours, there wil be help out there so don't be frightened to ask. If anyone wishes to be a volunteer please sign up to Covid-19. Your help will be gratefully received. All requests for help will be dealt with in the strictest confidence and where possible, collection of pensions will be done by DBS checked volunteers. Drew, our community officer, has signed up so we know we will be in safe hands!
