Towards ICZM on the Manhood Peninsula

Monday, May 30th, 2011

Announcement of consultation – 25th May 2011

For some time the Manhood Peninsula Partnership has been working on establishing an integrated way of looking at spatial planning on the Manhood Peninsula using the Coastal Change Pathfinder Project to collate information from a number of sources. The result is the document ‘Towards ICZM (Integrated Coastal Zone Management) on the Manhood Peninsula’ for which links can be found here and below.

Jane Cunningham of the Environmental Strategy Unit at Chichester District Council has written to the Parish Council asking it to take part in a public consultation about the document, and to publicise the document as widely as possible. More information can be found in the this letter from Peter Jones, MPP Chariman.

‘Towards ICZM’ can be found on the Manhood Peninsula Partnership website – see link below. It will also be available in the ‘In Focus’ section on the front page of Chichester District Council’s website by the end of tomorrow (Thurs 26 May). The consultation lasts from now until Friday 24th June 2011.
