MINUTES of the Meeting of the Parish Council, held on Thursday 3rd August 2017 in the Sports Pavilion, Rookwood Road, West Wittering, PO20 8LT           

PRESENT: Mr R Shrubb (Chairman), Mr R Hutton, Mr W Buckland, Mr K Martin Mrs N Pike, Mrs J Barrett, and 5 members of the public. Cllr Barrett and Cllr Montyn were also present.

94.  CHICHESTER DISTRICT COUNCIL LOCAL PLAN REVIEW – Noted the submission regarding Issues and Options consultation had been sent to CDC.

95.  A27 CONSULTATION –Noted that the Chairman had attended the recent meeting but that there was not enough detail regarding options.

96.  DISTRICT AND COUNTY COUNCILLOR UPDATE – Cllr Barratt referred to the CDC bulletin which he had circulated. He also reported on the Inspector’s decision regarding the traveller’s site in Birdham.

97.  FINANCE

a)     Quotes for fencing Play Area Sportsfield – Noted 2 quotes had been received as follows: Quote A - £2828.69, Quote B - £3124.88. On a proposal by Mr Hutton and seconded by Mr Martin, members approved Quote A.

b)    Accounts for payment - On a proposal by Mr Hutton and seconded by Mrs Pike the following accounts were approved for payment.

Mr Kemp reported that there was still graffiti on the Pumping Station by the Beach Rd.
